So we’re officially going to PS22 tomorrow in Staten Island. If you don’t know the PS22 Chorus, it’s these guys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0FPZolbYns
I’ve been in contact with the teacher (Who’s the coolest person in the world, by the way) since around Thanksgiving and now that we’re fully confirmed to go there tomorrow, I’m REALLY excited. We saw them do Fireflies, and we’re hoping to sing it with them, it’ll be a good time. AND for the music ed majors in the group, we’re gonna sit down and talk with the phenomenal teacher there.
We’re performing at the Westside Comedy Theatre in LA on Monday night at 10. It’s an improv theatre show, and apparently some TV people will be in the audience.
AND what I’m most excited for is hanging out with the founders of the group and another alum on Tuesday in LA. I love getting the history of the group, knowing where we came from, why we started, that kind of stuff. It’s going to be great.
Rob, Ian and I checked out the church we’re singing at on Saturday, it’s legit. And now a bunch of the guys are downstairs watching Transporter 3 while I upload video from the past few days onto my computer. I’ve almost filled this 320 gig hard drive i bought specifically for tour. Shit.
More later, I still need to get Joe on this. Let me know if you’re reading so I feel obligated to write more often.
