So this is my first attempt at blogging on our Ithacapella winter tour blog and I plan on making it as short, sweet, and minimally sentimental as possible. As a senior looking back on all four of the tours I have been fortunate enough to experience, I recall amazing memories that will always hold a special place in my heart ( okay so that’s as cliche and sappy as I will get…I promise). Memories like singing on Pier 39 in San Francisco freshman year as a newly acquainted, impressionable ithacapella rookie. Sophomore year, singing in the Orlando area and riding the Tower of Terror till the parks closed ( or until Garrett Deming cried, I don’t remember what came first). Junior year, singing along the east coast and yelling “Red Knight” or “Wench” at every young maiden that came near our table at Medieval Times. And now Senior year, a tour that Is thus far tiring ( as they all are) but one that will be the perfect ending to an ithacapella career of tours (especially when I win a car on the Price is Right during the LA portion of tour). Winter Tour has always been the point in which Ithacapella has bonded more than any in any other point during the year. I look forward to continuing this with past members and newer ones, and am excited to see what is in store for this tour.
