San Diego - Day 2

Note to body: STOP WAKING UP AT 8!!

Have you heard of cafe 222? It’s this little breakfast and lunch place that was featured on the food network by Bobby flay for their peanut butter and banana stuffed French toast. Well, we went there for breakfast yesterday and, while I didn’t get the signature dish (I don’t like bananas, shocking), the buttermilk pancakes may have been the best I’ve ever eaten. Everyone who got the French toast raved about it, too. Especially Chris lee. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so satisfied.

The afternoon consisted of an intense game of wiffle ball, followed by swimming, hottubbing and relaxing. Once again, my team of Joe, chris Miranda, Kevin and Austin (from football the day before) plus chris lee and Jason was victorious in sports.

Around 5, we got together to finish up this ‘pants on the ground’ thing. The arrangement actually ended up being pretty cool, with some new nifty transitions, melodies and a cool ending. Unfortunately we couldn’t shoot it, due to lack of time and light.

For dinner, we went to a Brazilian Barbecue in downtown San Diego. If you don’t know how these work, here it is: You have a little disc thing, one side is green, the other is red. When you flip it to green, they just KEEP BRINGING YOU DELICIOUS MEAT. Oh my god. Everything I ate was better than the last. It was amazing. By the end, we thought Jimmy might die but as far as I know he’s still alive. They also have a dancer there that got down with Joe, Jimmy, Nate, and Jordan, and there’s a piano player doing jazz versions of popular songs. Of course I can’t remember the name, but oh well.

Then we all came back to the hotel and went straight to bed.
